Recently, more and more often the question about the site address is answered: "Type in the search engine {Company name, keyword} and go to our site."

This is found in personal conversations and in radio / TV programs, where long names are poorly perceived by ear, but names and keywords are well remembered.



On the one hand, this suggests that search engines have learned how to deal with search spam in the least effective way, on the other hand, the professional level of the sites themselves is growing, content and structure are optimized for search engines (and this means, to some extent, for the user) .



On the third hand, we can safely say that the era of search engines has arrived. Examples on the surface - Google and Yandex are consistently intertwined in all levels of (Internet) activity, and the search as such ceases to be a separate operation: folksonomy, collective ranking, search from the URL line - are the mechanisms that allow you to find the right one . Not to mention contextual advertising in all its manifestations.

However, with all my sympathy for Yandex, I have to admit that Google is still looking better .
