Mexico will turn off 25.9 million mobile phones

April 10 at 23:59 hours in Mexico ended the general census of owners of mobile phones. Each of them had to communicate his name, which was entered into the national database CURP . The procedure is simple: it was enough just to send a special SMS to the CURP number, but within two months only 69% of mobile phone owners did it, including several hundred registered in the name of the President of Mexico, who initiated this reform.

The Mexican government has shown its integrity and announced that it is now going to turn off all mobile phones that have not been identified. Those there are 25.902.503 apparatus.
