Master in Israel

Many people write about IT education in various countries, but I have not yet met with a detailed description of studying in Israel. Basically, all articles relate to the United States. I will try to fill this gap as much as possible.
It will be a question of training in a magistracy of the Israeli Institute of Technology ( Technion ) with a degree in Information Systems.

Preface

When I chose a place of study in a magistracy, the main choice was between the USA and Israel (I was enrolled both there and there).
So why Israel?
  1. Quality education recognized worldwide
In particular, Technion occupies the 32nd place in the ranking of world universities in the specialty Engineering and IT.
  2. Rich IT experience
Who came up with ICQ? Israel. Almost all well-known companies have their Research & Development departments in Israel: Google, Intel, IBM, HP, QUALCOMM, Yahoo, Microsoft, General Electric and others.
  3. Close cooperation with various universities and companies.
Technion works closely with world famous universities , resulting in numerous student and professors exchange programs.
There is also cooperation with the aforementioned companies. There are numerous job fairs for students. Companies order certain studies by university professors who are well funded.
  4. Cost of education
The cost of training is several times cheaper than, for example, in the United States. In Technion for the second degree, it is $ 8440 for the entire time of study.
For comparison, I will give an example. The cost of a year of study at the Illinois Institute of Technology , where I, too, was enrolled in the magistracy is $ 32,013 .
  5. Graduate students receive a scholarship
Almost all graduate students whose grade point average is above 80 (that is, 4 in the Russian system) receive a scholarship that covers either 75% or 100% of the cost of education. Plus, once a month they receive a cash payment (about $ 650) for which you can live.

These are the reasons for which I chose Israel, and went to study here.

It will be interesting to you to read the sequel?
