Google acquired
GreenBorder , a Californian company that creates data protection software designed to protect your computer while surfing the Web.
According to
Silicon Valley Watcher , GreenBorder is developing “easy solutions against viruses, spyware and trojans, by isolating each Internet session from the software part of the computer and earlier Internet sessions. The beauty of Green Border Pro lies in the absence of the need to update the software to combat new viruses and other "evil" software. Green Border Pro creates an isolated virtual Internet session, and when you stop it, it is removed from the cache and temporary files. ”
Initially, Green Border Pro was a sandbox (protection mechanism, executing applications obtained from the Web within an isolated environment) for Internet Explorer, however, Firefox is now supported.
')
Green Border Pro is now available on
Download.com in the trial version, but you will have to pay $ 29.95 per year to use the full version. Well, let's hope that Google will release a free version.
