Contests of software projects and embedded systems
Imagine Cup in the coming days will reach its peak! This Friday,
April 9, 2010, the Russian Imagine Cup final will be held
in Nizhny Novgorod .

The event will begin
at 10:00 (although it is better to arrive at 9:30 in order to catch the welcome coffee) in the central pavilion of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair (
on the map ), and will last until 18:30. In addition to speeches by very interesting people (Microsoft President Nikolay Pryanishnikov, Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Rector of UNN, Head of the Zvorykinsky Project, etc.) and interesting contests with prizes and gifts, you will also see performances of student teams and software and hardware projects made by them:
- Performances of teams and demonstration of software projects made by students of the State University Higher School of Economics, UNN, SUSU, TPU, SPbGPU, TIT SFU. Topics include: semantic portal, “Internet for the blind”, BigTurtle interactive game, a device for contactless determination of water pollution, etc.
- Demonstrations of software and hardware solutions for student teams of SUSU, UNN, NSU / NSTU / SIBSUTI, MGPU and MIPT / MAI on the eBox / Windows Embedded platform. You will see Robonyan, the unmanned helicopter-bumblebee, an intelligent garbage sorting conveyor and an interactive training table.
