
For each space mission, starting with STS-96 in 1999, when the American shuttle docked for the first time with the ISS, the graphic department of the Kennedy Space Center created posters about each mission.
While some of the first posters created for
SFA were “gray” and boring, they later evolved into artwork that portrayed teams of space expeditions in the style of Hollywood movie posters.
Here you can see for example such films as: Oceans 11, The Matrix, Star Wars, etc.

The twenty first long-term crew of the International Space Station, consists of six people. For the first time, the ESA astronaut became the crew commander. For the first time, three Soyuz spacecraft were docked to the ISS.

STS-134 is the space flight MTKK Endeavor through the Space Shuttle program. Continuing the assembly of the International Space Station. The 35th flight of the shuttle to the ISS. The last flight of the shuttle "Endeavor", the penultimate flight of the program "Space Shuttle".

One of the main goals of the expedition is to deliver to the orbit the components of the Japanese Kibo research module: hermetic compartment (JEM PM), supporting chassis, Japanese robot arm (JEM RMS). Also on the station flight STS-124 arrived American astronaut Mark Kelly.

Main objective: Delivery and installation of the last (fourth) section of the S6 solar panels. After installing the S6 segment and deploying the solar panels, the total power supply provided by American equipment will reach 264 kW.

The main objective of the STS-126 expedition is to equip the American segment of the ISS with equipment and materials in the Multi-Purpose Supply Module, after which the station became ready for work on its six-person crew. This is the last flight of the MMS Leonardo.

Main objective: Delivery of scientific equipment and spare parts for the ISS, including: six spare batteries, spare parts for the Canadian robotic manipulator "Dextre", a spare radiator, airlock, a European manipulator for the Russian multipurpose laboratory. Delivery and installation of the Russian docking cargo module, which will be docked to the lower port of the Zarya module.

The main goal: Delivery of scientific equipment in the transport module "Leonardo". The Leonardo module packs new berths for the crew of the ISS, products and clothing for the crew of the ISS, a new laboratory freezer, a sports simulator, spare parts for a water recovery system, experimental equipment and racks with consumables.

Main objective: Delivery and installation on the ISS of the Tranquility module (Calm) and the Dome module. The Tranquility module is the latest American module of the ISS.

The STS-129 mission is the first of the final shuttles missions whose task is to deliver dimensional and critical spare units and devices to the station. Such devices include, in particular, orientation gyroscopes and station cooling systems tanks.
