World passport

The Institute of World Citizenship actually appeared in 1948, when Garry Davis (Garry Davis) was once a theater actor on Broadway, as well as a bomber pilot during World War II, publicly announced in Paris that he refused to be a US citizen, as well as henceforth he is a citizen of the world.

The history of Harry Davis’s adventures lasted for a long time, he was detained many times for lack of documents and for lack of citizenship, but now, for 50 years, there is an organization that is located in Washington, Columbia, and registers everyone for a modest fee, citizens of our common Motherland - the planet Earth.

Different sources talk about different numbers, that now there are between half a million and a million registered citizens of the world. The site contains an impressive list of countries that at least once admitted or released, that is, de facto recognized, citizens of the world armed with these blue passports with inscriptions in seven languages.
Also, world citizenship is officially recognized by five countries - Ecuador, Mauritania, Tanzania, Togo, Zambia and Burkina Faso.
