It’s strange that I didn’t find the information that Nokia e72 (possibly in all Symbian 9.3 devices) changed the standard calendar for the better, namely, they added a function that is very necessary and obvious, but before that I met it only on various desktop calendars.
Now when creating a new event, you stretch the time field that will be occupied by the event right in the day view. Honestly, I didn’t plan to see the implementation of this function on Nokia, but I really hoped for HTC Hero, but I didn’t see it.

Click on the right day

Click on the start time of the event and pull the field to the end time

Now it is very convenient to plan the day, when you open the day view, you see the busy time and the window between the cases. Previously, it was possible to do this only by registering the time of the event in the creation window of the case, which is a long time.
UPD. Yesterday I took the Blackberry 8800 from my wife, there this function in the calendar has been implemented perfectly for a long time!
