Bank of scripts for the Festival

After reading the topic "Teach the PC to talk," I immediately tried the festival.

And I was pleasantly surprised!

The voice is quite even, sometimes you just need to edit the words with two basics - the festival put one stress on them, and you need two - just write the word through the page.

Even if the words are not in the dictionary, the festival can put the emphasis not there - then you need to explicitly indicate it with the help of the plus sign (+) in front of the striking vowel.

Having played, in a few weeks I have accumulated several different interesting scripts. I set up a cron conversation from 8 to 10 pm every hour at 00 minutes - general information:

1) Date, time

2) Temperature on the processor / hard drive

3) Battery charge (as a percentage and even the remainder (do not ask why) in milliamperes)

4) Email Verification

5) Outdoor temperature (current)

And at 30 minutes of every hour - the full weather: temperature, wind direction and strength, etc.

Also every 2 minutes the mail is checked and if there are letters - it says “You have a new letter”.

')

And some little things.

And here's an idea: I'm probably not the only one who made the computer talk to me :)

Collect scripts in one wiki so that everyone can add their own or take someone.

This is how a wiki on wikia was created: “A bank of scripts for the Festival voice engine”

It is designed so that Linux festivals and users can exchange scripts for bash / php / other, as well as newbies can easily and without shamanism talk with a computer.

Now it is posted there:

1) Initial preparations - first steps.

2) Say the date

3) Speak time

4) Battery charge

As well as additional scripts related to the festival, but very useful for scripting:

1) Numbers in words

2) Declination of words by numbers

If you have any scripts of your own and you don’t feel sorry for putting them into general use, do it! :)

You can create directly on the wiki page, and you can also write a script in the comments for this article, and I myself will add them to the wiki.
