Good news from PeterHost: BSD Associate certification will be available on April 13 in Moscow

As part of RootConf 2010, BSD Unix systems administrators will have the opportunity to go through the BSD Associate certification process.

April 13, during the conference of web developers RootConf 2010 in Moscow, all participants will have a unique opportunity to go through the process of certification of BSD Certification system administrators.
Applicants will be asked to pass the BSD Certification Group qualification exam in English, consisting of 100 questions. The test covers seven main areas of work of the system administrator:

1. Install and update the operating system and software;
2. Protection of the operating system;
3. Files, file systems and disks;
4. User and account management;
5. Basics of system administration;
6. Network administration;
7. Basic knowledge of UNIX.

To successfully pass the test, you need to score 500 points out of 700 possible.
There are questions that imply the choice of several answers, there are those that need to be answered simply “true” or “false”. Based on the results of the exam, a BSD Associate certificate is issued, confirming that the specialist meets the requirements for a BSD Unix system administrator.
