The chat built into iGoogle and Orkut now transfers files

Google Talk, which ended its life in a standalone client in 2007 and revived in the form of Google Chat Gadget, is gradually re-acquiring its old abilities - now file transfer has become available to it. So far, the functionality is implemented for iGoogle and Orkut, but support for file transfer will also be added soon for Gmail.
