USB tees
Gentlemen, I would like to discuss with you one idea. Picking up material for the next "Industrial Zone" I came across an interesting concept from designer Gonglue Jiang. On Habré already wrote about it (and the picture will be slightly lower).
I propose a little bit to complete the concept and discuss the vitality of this idea. For minus due to repeat, please read the text.

The initial idea is beautiful and extremely simple - we have an infinite USB port in front of us, which is always free, no matter how many devices you plug into it. The number of connections in the garland is limited only by convenience and nutritional needs. But there is one “but” - in order for this idea to come into life, it is necessary that manufacturers support it. And this, you understand, is unlikely.
Then why not take this idea as a basis and start releasing USB tees? Once again we look at the illustration. Instead of a cord from below, we make a USB socket and in front of us is a very useful USB tee in the household (more precisely, a double). Under the cut the development of the theme.
The device should be extremely cheap and functional. Multi-colored display will only add ease of use, because allows you to quickly turn off the unnecessary device. In principle, if you think about the following advantages:
1. Production costs should be extremely low. Consequently, the retail price may well spin around 1-2 bucks.
2. Given the boom in the market of netbooks and subnotebooks (as well as tablets), such products should be in demand.
3. Since the size of the "twins" is small enough, they will be constantly lost. And since the price of them is also small, it will allow you to buy their "crumbly" as a consumable.
