Sphelar - spherical solar cells

At the PV Expo 2010 in Tokyo, Kyosemi Corporation presented its new development - Sphelar spherical solar panels, which, according to the authors, will allow for even more efficient conversion of solar energy.



Due to their spherical shape, the batteries capture light reflected from objects scattered in the atmosphere, regardless of the time of year or direction of sunlight.

It is theoretically possible to mount these batteries in glass and then windows that generate electrical energy may appear.
