Students from the University of Tromsø in Norway, using projectors and cameras, made a unique multitouch-wall
WallScope measuring 7168 × 3072, that is, 22 megapixels.

The image is projected through projectors. Touch screen shooting is carried out with 16 cameras on the floor. Multitouch works without directly touching the screen, you just need to bring your palms close enough.
At first, students experimented with navigating gigapixel photos of their hometown, then they launched Quake.

The size of the multi-touch screen design in Tromsø is not a record holder. For example, previously reported on the
45-meter multi-touch wall in Germany. But then the German wall had a resolution of only 34 megapixels, and here 22 MP in a much smaller area. That is, the quality of the picture is the best of the giant multitouch.
