A survey conducted by Canalys showed that Europeans are very interested in the Apple iPhone, although the majority of those who voted still prefer Nokia phones.
The study was conducted among 2000 adult working mobile phone users. The survey was conducted in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.

84% of respondents want to change their Nokia to a more advanced model.
Sony Ericsson was the second most popular mobile brand. It is followed by Samsung and Motorola. Although Apple has not yet released its iPhone, the company is ahead of such well-known mobile device manufacturers like RIM, HP and Palm. ')
Canalys analysts say: “Apple's rating is greatly increased by iPod users. Nearly half of iPod users said they wanted to buy an iPhone. Only 20% of those who have never had an iPod have shown interest in the iPhone. Apple consumers are very loyal to the manufacturer. ”
