How to improve the efficiency of the "Desktop"

I was often blamed for the clutter of the "Desktop" on my computer. And indeed, since I placed on the screen the labels of everything I didn’t want to forget, he was very slanderous.

In the book of V.N. Ursova “Myself Manager” I read the recommendation to refer to the “Desktop” as well as to the written one: select different zones, put trays “Incoming”, “Outgoing”, stapler, paper clips. To make it clearer, I decided to highlight zones graphically, lining the screen.


After spending a few hours I painted wallpapers that suit me. Perhaps someone also wants to calculate their Augean stables, and they will be useful to him.
