Analyst: new MacBook Pro and iMac will be presented at WWDC

Jen Munster (Gene Munster), a senior analyst at Piper Jaffray, expressed his predictions about the announcements that can be made by Apple at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2007 (WWDC 2007) developer conference, which will be held from June 11 to 15 in San Francisco.

According to Munster, from the hardware of new products we can expect the emergence of new models of laptops MacBook Pro and, possibly, updated iMac. The analyst is confident that the release of the iPhone will be devoted to a separate event, which will be held towards the end of June, since WWDC is traditionally a Mac-oriented event.

According to Munster, Apple updates its top line of laptops, on average, once every 182 days, while 209 days have passed since the last update. With iMac, the situation is even more revealing: new models of these machines appeared already 257 days ago, while the line was previously updated on average once every 168 days.
