For two years now I have been sitting on Linux personally assembled, and from that I sometimes encounter tasks that you don’t always find in the forums. The last problem encountered was the inoperability of the Adobe Flash Player of the 10th version (9-ka got up normally) in Opera. I think this can affect many self-assemblers, so I decided to arrange it in the form of a topic.
I inform you in advance that the issue of expediency of working in your own Linux does not apply to the topic.

At first, when I found out that 9 works fine, I decided that figs with it with the last version, and so it will come down. However, later it turned out that some services became unavailable to me. For example, with the 9th, you cannot roam the streets of Moscow on Yandex.Maps, but for me, as a novice car enthusiast, it is sometimes vital to look at the road signs
before the trip.
Began to sin on the libc. I have 2.5.1, and this, to put it mildly, is not the last stable version ... But the internal desire to get a clear answer to the question posed preserved from such a tedious procedure as reassembling the Libc (self-assemblers will understand me).
What I wanted to find in the end is a clear and complete dependency list. The corresponding page on the Adobe site did not differ completely, and the forums did not give any answers. And I was almost desperate when I found the
linux version of Flash Player’s developers . On it I came across a wonderful
article .
So, it turned out that when moving from version 9 to version 10, the following points were added to the prerequisites:
In addition, it is noted that the Libc now requires a version not lower than 2.4 (at this point, I sighed with relief). After building and installing these packages, Flash Player 10 is finally launched.
I hope my topic will be useful and I apologize in advance for verbosity.
