I will not write about
Codeforces , but I will only invite those interested in the
Codeforces programming contest
Beta Round # 6 . The competition will be held according to the popular
ACM-ICPC rules. Although even if you have never participated in competitions, I think that you will easily get comfortable. The beginning is scheduled for the
morning of March 27th (Saturday) 2010, 10:00 (UTC +3, Moscow time) . Duration - 2 hours. Do not forget to
register and make sure that you are present in
list of registered for the contest .
If you have never participated in competitions, why not try? Here you can read (and try to solve) the
problems of the previous round for beginners or participants from the second division. Remember that in order for the problem to be solved, you must write a solution that works on all the tests of the jury.
5 beta rounds have already taken place at Codeforces, which gathered an audience of about 700 participants and about 2,000 registered users. At the moment, the competitions are held according to the rules of
ACM-ICPC , but we are working on new rules - I really want to introduce something new. Please note that in our competitions you can write solutions in C / C ++, Pascal, Java, C #, Python, Ruby or PHP. Assumed individual participation. All you need to do is write a program that reads input from standard input and outputs the result to standard output.
I am always lazy to register - therefore the possibility of transparent use of the gmail account is implemented (or you can log in using OpenID).

I would like to note that the work on Codeforces is far from over, and, in particular, your participation in Codeforces Beta Round # 6 will help make the project better.
