I am a customer Beeline.
Yesterday I received an SMS with this content: “You are in the 3G coverage area. Enter the command and use the new features of the Internet: * 110 * 1016 # "
I remembered about SMS fraud, remembered posts about Beeline's website
safe.beeline.ru and looked in there. After reading the information on the site I decided to write a letter to Beeline to clarify for myself whether I should respond to SMS or not.
Here is what he wrote:

Good day,
I have studied the section on your site against fraud and would like to receive
from you information about how I should respond to SMS received from the operator
Beeline which falls into at least two categories of frauds mentioned
do you need “SMS - request” and “Paid code or Operator Shares”?
Today I received an SMS message with the following text:
“You are in a 3G coverage area. Enter the command and use the new
Internet capabilities: * 110 * 1016 # »
How should I interpret this SMS, should I enter
the proposed command and what can it lead to?

And I received the following answer today:
Dear nominee!
According to our information, the probability of "infection" of a cell phone
a virus from the Internet (when navigating WAP resources),
Enough, low, but exclude such a theoretical
opportunity, of course, impossible. In this regard, we can offer
do not open “suspicious” files on unknown sites
and not to read (for example, through the built-in mobile phone
mail client) mail with attachments from unknown persons.
Your Bee Line.
Now I can't understand whether I'm so stupid, or if Beeline has any problems with the customer service?
Tell me, is there any hint in the answer to the question?
