The ban on professional photography in Red Square has been lifted.

The Order of the Federal Security Service dated February 26, 2010 N 83 “On Amendments to the Rules for Visiting the Moscow Kremlin, approved by the order of the Federal Security Service of Russia dated October 18, 2001 N 336” lifted the ban on shooting with “professional” equipment on the territory of Red Square and the Kremlin. Now permission is needed only for filming during the preparation and holding of security events, as well as for filming in order to create advertising, media products and other replicable film, photo and video products.
On this occasion, the Photographing FAQ was updated, these changes were reflected, plus a few new questions were added .
