But there is another information flow - links from friends and it is growing. It was very convenient to regulate this flow with the help of Friendfeed.com, but the flow grew and I wanted additional tools. Friendfeed.com has a very convenient “Hide” button, to hide uninteresting messages, followed by an even more convenient button “Hide other similar objects”, you can specify “Hide all entries on Google Reader from USER”, after which all messages from the user USER that go with the Google Reader channel will be hidden automatically.
It is very convenient that you can customize the cancellation of hiding, if one of your friends commented on or noted the message.
But I still lack a few conditions for auto-hide: “All records are hidden on Google Reader by USER with a link to svalko.org” and “Hide all users' records with a link to svalko.org”. This need is strongly manifested when receiving a stream from Google Reader. Well, an even more fantastic desire to "Hide if the phrase is present .....". Maybe there is another, similar, resource where more flexible filtering rules are implemented?
I would like to receive your comments - how do you manage the flow of information from friends, what tools?
Perhaps there is a team that can take up the creation of such a resource, how much will the work of programmers cost?
Now for these purposes I use Skype and Miranda (in which there are 10 different Gtalk channels, I am online, Mile agent, icq ...). Twitter dropped out of this list because it is not convenient for me, YET, I’m just going to relay there with Friendfeed (I put programs for convenient communication, for example, mixero.com)
