Game AI War: Fleet Command

A few days ago I came across a toy called AI War: Fleet Command . I have played a little bit of it so far, but the game really hooked me, so I decided to briefly tell the community about it.

The plot is quite banal. Mankind has created artificial intelligence to control the army of automated spacecraft, but this AI, naturally, rebelled against its creators. In the war that lasted several weeks, few survived. You command a small detachment and try to defeat this same AI. Interestingly, the AI does not consider the remaining people as a serious threat, he believes that they should not even be finished off, so at first he will react poorly to your actions.

Features that seemed most interesting to me

Scale. I was always caught up with games with big armies. In AI War, judging by the information on the site, up to 90,000 units can be in one batch. Norm - 30 000+.
Smart AI and customizable complexity. The AI is tuned from “very easy”, which can be won by reading a book in parallel to “impossible”. Also for AI, you can choose one of three dozen patterns of behavior and give odds to weaker players.
Co-op. I have met a bit of strategies with the possibility of a cooperative game. In AI War, there are no games against each other, in principle, only a cooperative designed for 2-8 players (you can play alone). As the number of players grows, the strength of the opponent grows.
Lack of micromanagement. The interface and gameplay is sharpened by the adoption of global strategic decisions, each single unit requires very little attention.

Some features

Long batches - 10 hours and more. But with the help of some settings time can be reduced.
Used a lot of graphics from the old tyrian toy. It annoys me a little, but you can get used to it.

In the demo, each campaign (except for training) is limited to three hours, you can only build simple ships and only an easy level of complexity is available.
