Not that I strongly paid attention to all the details of the work of the habr, as some do. But still I want to raise the issue of tags again. First, where did the question come from.
For example, take
this topic. What tags do we see - Russian Railways, a bunch, rebranding, wasted money, corruption, Russia, Hebrew, BBDO, logo.
Railways, rebranding, logo, BBDO - logical on the topic.
But what are they doing here - a bunch, wasted money, corruption, Russia, Hebrew, BBDO? No, I understand that the "bunch" is found in the text. But let me - who will search for this tag topics and what is the probability that there will ever appear another topic with this tag? I suspect that tends to zero.
"Money to the wind" - the same story.
“Corruption” - not a word in the text about it, so why did this tag appear here?
“Russia” is too general a tag. If you search for it and arrange it in such a way, then the number of topics on it completely unrelated to each other will be so great that it will become useless.

No, I did not gang on this particular topic. Such habre "car and small truck." In other words, tags are put as something where. Often, the logic of their choice is so controversial that it is possible to think longer (above logic) than it does over the topic itself.
Therefore, I want to ask - are such tags necessary at all? Maybe I misunderstand them, that's why I had such a question. However, it seems to me that it would be interesting to debate on the subject of regulating possible words indicated in the tags. No, I in no way want to ban tags and I don’t have a ready-made solution on how to fix the situation.
One thing I can say for sure. In the current view, tag search has become an almost useless tool if you do not search by tag cloud.
