When I got the Internet in 2005, most of the time was spent searching and gathering information about the Russian army. But then, like many of you, I wanted to create something of my own, and so the project “Military Equipment of Russia” appeared. The site has always enjoyed, and enjoys a good popularity, but the last couple of years could not find time for it. A couple of times he began to write the engine for this site, but the work did not allow him to finish writing.
I was always surprised that there is no site in the Russian Internet like Habr, about the Russian army, military equipment. Of course there are many good forums, but, unfortunately, I do not really like this format of providing information.

In connection with the popularity of military subjects in Habré, I want to offer my project to the habrasoobshchestvo.
Living Army - the site works on a slightly modified Cogear engine, in the future it is planned to transfer articles from the Russian Military Equipment website and create a certain encyclopedia of military equipment.
What for? You ask, because in there is the same Habr, where you can write in the popular science. But as you know, Habr is not a place for politics, and Habr is still an IT resource.
I understand that innovation projects and creative ideas are usually being promoted in Habré, and here there is nothing like a usual website, but I haven’t seen such projects on the Internet, maybe someone will be interested.
PS This is not a topic with a request to fill the site, it is rather a question whether a similar project is needed?
