Recently, three large companies, namely GIGABYTE, Intel and Kingston, held a small seminar in the Izmailovo Kremlin, where they briefly talked about the winter-spring 2010 season.

Traffic.
Usually, the venues for such events are chosen for a reason, but this time, apparently because of everyday activities, I still did not understand why we were there, in the Russian meal hall of the Izmailovo Kremlin. This meeting was especially remembered - it is not every day that one can feel the atmosphere of the irrevocably elapsed time.
')

The Kremlin itself is beautiful ... but it's one thing to see it outside, and the other is to go inside. And, perhaps, all sorts of limousines are knocked out of the overall picture of the past, but here the walls, painted under various fairy tales, look very cool.

The first under the light of the projector appeared
Konstantin Yakovlev - head of the technical marketing department of GIGABYTE.

He briefly talked about the numbers that the “giga” maneuvers (date of establishment, capital, number of employees, production volumes of all five divisions) maneuvers, about the production capacities of the company and about all sorts of patents there.

And after that he introduced all those present with the novelties of motherboards, which will soon be on sale.

These are several models on the new
Intel H55 and
H57 chipsets for different sockets, with support for USB3.0 and SATA3.

And if each manufacturer in motherboards has its pros and cons, then the presence of the last two points is good.

They promise a tenfold increase in speed via USB, but, as the DeDaL
experiments have shown, everything is a bit more modest.
A little later, an entire delegation of foreign guests and company employees appeared on the improvised stage. I did not remember names and officials, but in broken Russian, they sincerely wished everyone success and said they were glad to cooperate with us :) But no ... I remembered one name - it was the chairman of the board of directors and the president of the GIGABYTE holding,
Mr. Dandy Yeh .

The performance of foreign guests was replaced by
Vyacheslav Dubensky ,
Kingston development manager in Russia and the CIS countries. Almost nothing was told about the updates from him, but I generally liked his story - I learned a lot about the company itself.

It turns out that a lifetime warranty applies to all of their memory strips - usually this promise is given only in case of complete certainty. On the other hand, he told where this confidence comes from - it turns out that absolutely all memory levels are actively tested in special heating cabinets, at elevated temperatures and voltages. And if there is an error in at least one memory cell, the entire module is considered unusable. Accordingly, in fact, the entire memory is sold initially “b.u.”, but this is unlikely to somehow have a negative effect - the test simulates three months of continuous memory and allows you to virtually eliminate the possibility of error.
And something else was said about the principle of
KingstonCare - ostensibly for corporate customers, in the event of a breakdown, the company is ready to replace the memory anywhere in Russia in one day. Weakly believe, but if they say - I think you can believe it)
Well, a few words were told about the company's SSD drives - given the position of Kingston in the memory market, I am finally convinced that these drives have a future.

While there are several series of different volumes, respectively, the price range is also different. But the fact that technologies are slowly running in, and the scale of production is growing, says only that soon the discs will become more accessible.

The performance was completed by
Vlad Nikonov from
Intel . At first I thought that for the hundredth time I would have to watch the same presentation ... as I suddenly saw new slides) I leave a couple of them for independent study.

In the end there was a small entertainment program, song and dance.

Girls with harps, guys with balalaikas and bayans ... juice, kvass, mead, cakes and bears are very patriotic) I think, even as many Russians from warmer countries imagine Russia.
Successes!
