The other day , Vobis Computer and Intrinsyc announced the release of the iDa navigation system based on the Destinator program engine and Navteq navigation maps. The program is available to everyone in the 30-day full-featured demo mode. Why not try it with a Samsung i5700 in your hand ?!
Mini-review and screenshots of the program inside.
This is how the program icon looks like:

Here the map mode was set - automatic, respectively, according to the time a night map was set.
On the way home from work I tested the program in the field.
I like the program, immediately and unconditionally, compared to those we have already tried on Android. The driver in our family is his wife. Here are her comments and my own observations:
- The interface is not overloaded with unnecessary information, the menu is automatically hidden, only the most necessary information remains on the screen;
- Satellites are faster than the same Navitel or Yandex, on the same device;
- The interface is very easy to learn;
- The route is built very quickly, rebuilding the route takes a minimum of time;
Now about the downsides: although when I searched I easily found a job and a house (the same Navitel allowed me to choose only the next house in the yard, he didn’t even suspect about the existence of my house), but the program didn’t bring us from work to home that we arrived at the place when there was still about half a kilometer in the district before the house. Yes, and I personally do not like that the icons in the main menu of the program are stylized for IPhone - I would like to be able to change them.
However, the fact of the existence of a really working program for Android can not but rejoice. I really want the traffic jam service (which is expected approximately in May-June) and deal with the iDa-sms service, which should help clarify the routes through the communication of program users, as I understand it.
In general, the verdict is - the wife agrees to a gift in the form of an Android phone from me, provided that I also buy her a license for iDa. ;-)

here , Picas did not allow for some reason to turn the screens taken in landscape mode, so that you can normally publish them here.
Upd: this program is only for phones with a screen resolution of 320 * 480 and 240 * 320.
Upd2: added a few more screenshots.
