Google is likely to launch its own cellular network in the UK
If you believe the source TechCrunch , then Google plans in a few weeks to begin creating its own mobile network in the UK. Google will become the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) operator, acquiring traffic from O2 .
It was also said that there will be no offline offices of the mobile operator Google, and that the connection and customer service will only be available via the Internet. A number of Nokia phones will come preloaded with Google software.
However, MVNOs usually struggle to build a customer base. In the UK, perhaps, only Virgin Mobile was able to enter the mass market - now this operator has more than 4 million customers.
