When I first saw this demo , I got sick of it. This is not just a programmer freak, this is a real MASTERPIECE. Demos are different, some of them show more of the programmer's abilities in computer graphics, while others, in addition to good visualization, have a good or even brilliant idea. That's it for the second half of this demo.
Quote from "Gamemania": ')
Philosophical clip about the sad human being and the futility of all earthly. The authors show life from beginning to end. In the first scene, we see the beginning of life, a view of the blossoming nature in spring, a bicycle against the backdrop of a large American city. All this speaks of youth. But time goes on and gradually everything changes, grief comes to a person’s life, which is shown in the next scene with a suddenly faded tree and a large hand pierced with a knife. However, the hero of the scene is still young and he doesn’t care, he goes to the climbers, climbs to high mountains and in all its glory his strong, well-beating heart is shown on the echo-cadiogram. Further maturity is shown, in which wise people often find God, which symbolizes the appearance of the church accompanied by a melodic bell-ringing. Finally, earthly life ends and the body is seen falling in the bathroom and the inscription saying that life does not end and the soul of the hero flew off to the sky. The scene leaves a deep impression in both its plot and how it is embodied, with very beautiful special effects, animation, music and camera work.
The end of the quote.

1. The demo itself can be downloaded from here (~ 25 MB). In general, there are many places on the Internet where you can download it. The demo requires shaders 2.0. I recommend to watch in HD!
Just thought to write about one of the demos ASD.Then I just found this topic - unfortunately, placed in a personal blog due to the lack of karma from the author ( Okloks ), also created in July last year. And almost no one noticed the demo on Habrahabr, which is completely unfair. I repeat the note with additions.
I saw in Lifeforce not a long way of life, but a facet of human life and an attempt to say that sadness and pain are always hidden behind joy and entertainment, and that people of entertainment too love destruction.
