Google announced that they were abandoning the SearchWiki project and leaving instead the Starred Results feature, which is essentially a trimmed version of SearchWiki. It will allow users to simply mark certain search queries so that they are displayed at the top of the page when searching for other relevant queries.
SearchWiki was the first attempt by Google to offer users a personalized search results, allowing them to change the order in which sites were issued, pick up sites, remove them and comment. It looked like this:
As mentioned above, it was replaced by “starred results”, which will also give out sites on top of the page, but separately from Google’s native output. Here’s how Google commented on this after SearchWIki’s experience over the past year:
"In our testing, we’ve taken an organic reference results."

“Starred results” will work on many Google projects, so you can see your marked Google requests on Google maps. “Starred results” will be shown only when you are logged in and do not appear on the SEO industry.
