The scientist who changed television

The prestigious award of the World Information Society received the Russian. Professor Mark Krivosheev was noted for his contribution to the development of international standards for digital interactive television broadcasting. Over the past 50 years, television has changed society, and Professor Krivosheev has changed television. It is said about a person who for 60 years in a row as a real futurologist foresees these changes, being a quarter of a century ahead of time, as was the case with digital broadcasting. Back in 48, he surprised the world by expanding the image into 625 lines, and in the recent 2000, George Lucas admitted that without the Krivosheev technology there would be no new Star Wars series.
