Yes, and I confess, too: even though I never groaned, but the large print or red color strikes the eye - honor and praise to the designers of the site, excellent work.

Somewhere in the corner of consciousness, the idea was gradually forming that we should urgently get rid of this tinsel, and use Habrahabr only for utilitarian purposes: read interesting, memorize what you like, comment at will, and that's probably it. Now I don’t know how many “pluses” my comment has collected, where I expressed one random thought. Another thing is important: they agree with me, it means that we need to go further. :-)

So, you need a gentleman's set: Firefox and the wonderful Adblock Plus plugin. When everything is installed and working, in the Adblock Plus window you need to add a few rules (everything that is highlighted in bold is the rule):

• habrahabr.ru # div (karmadiv) - this rule cuts off the karmic block that each user in the profile has to the left of the nickname. Cuts straight with arrows, long live block layout.
• habrahabr.ru # div (id ^ = voter) - this rule clears all those “up / down”, “plus / minus”, which are designed to raise and lower something.
• www.habrahabr.ru/i/last_shot.gif - this is so that the patron cartridge is not shown to the left of the nickname with the signature, how many and what parrots are left.

This could be done, but, unfortunately, advertising blocks are pretty tiring, which are not only brazenly wedged into the content, but often too close in content (IMHO, of course). We go further with those who are tired of advertising:

• habrahabr.ru # td (habrahabr_advertising_text) - this rule hides the internal ad units.
• www.habrahabr.ru/i/b - the same, but already for banner images, as such.
• pink.futurico.ru - a twirl of banners of the company itself.
