The game service OnLive starts on June 17 in the USA

The wait was long, but it seems to be coming to an end. OnLive launch time is officially scheduled in the United States on June 17 in 48 states.

The price for OnLive will be $ 14.95 per month (price for using the service, that is, demo games, multiplayer (?), Watching games, chatting on social networks and storing saved games), but in the case of buying games, an additional fee is provided (it is not clear what is the price). When you purchase several months at once, discounts will be provided, and the first 25,000 subscribers will receive 3 free months of use. First, OnLive will be available on the Mac and PC as a browser plug-in, and the microconsole (the cheap video repeater-TV set promised in previous reports) will be released later this year. Initially, OnLive will work with a resolution of 720p, but 1080p / 60 fps will be added when throughput becomes sufficient. At the time of release will be available 12-25 games, including Mass Effect 2, Borderlands, Assassin's Creed II, Dragon Age Origins, and the Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The entire system will be serviced by 5 data centers evenly distributed throughout the US so as to prevent lags ... we wish them good luck!
