The story is sad but instructive

Today I ordered a domain from a famous domain name registrar. I paid in the bank receipt.
In the evening at 23:00 Moscow time, the data came to manage the domain. And after half an hour a letter that killed outright.

It turns out half an hour ago, the domain is already registered. After looking through whois it turned out that the domain was registered by another domain name registrar.

It is difficult to say whether this is a coincidence or the domain is leaked. The registrar said that the money reached around 23:00 Moscow time. Since the payment was through the bank no complaints.

What to do

If you pay for the receipt in the bank, the money will go to the registrar for 1-3 days, do not wait so much, make a photocopy or photo of the check and immediately send it to the registrar.
