Low cost writing board with marker (Glass WhiteBoard)

The office was missing the board on which you could write tasks to perform.
After shopping, the expediency of buying WhiteBoard boards did not reach a peak, because sizes and prices did not match our needs.
The solution was found very simple.

As a board used ordinary glass 4mm thick.
The back side was glued with a self-adhesive film - they have a sticky base of white color, which provided a good background, the edges were processed - they were made smooth with fine sandpaper.

There were several mounting options for the product:
1. glue to the wall;
2. on the corners;
3. Drill holes in the glass.
')
We stopped at the corners. Two corners below, and one above securely fix the glass to the wall.
Still, I recommended using splenitis, or another porous material on which you can put between the wall and glass, so that it is more convenient to write - if the wall is not even.

The photo is not on our board, I’ll post our photo tomorrow.
As promised, a photo of what we received. Unfortunately I can only take a picture on the phone.

On the last photo you can see on the clock how the window gleams - on the board it is normal. Of course, at some angles the window interferes, but the location is already to be chosen by yourself.

Time spent - 5 minutes, glass and film remained after the repair.

UPD: There was a question on the markers, really, in the post missed.

To draw a board, for example, for a table that will be permanently used, alcohol-based markers that sign discs can be used.
You can wipe it with alcohol, wipes to wipe the monitor and :) brandy

For the working part - it is possible to use the permanent marker. It is easily wiped with a damp cloth or finger.
Permanent marker is erased badly, after about 10 minutes. They advised me to test Lieners

From field tests: write and erase ordinary markers well for whiteboard

Water-based pigment markers Zig Illumigraph, if anyone is interested. It feels like chalk, but is erased from metal, glass surfaces, ceramic tiles and, of course, from student boards, plastic. Fluoresce under UV lamps.

UPD2:
The habrik user bithack advises you to put a thin sheet of iron with glass and splenum, so that you can use special washers for “branded” boards that stick on a magnet on the surface of the board.

AlexanderYastrebov :
a washer made from a sponge for dishes, a soft flat magnet from a refrigerator and a couple of drops of the moment.
