Battlestar Galactica game in development
The German company Bigpoint , known for the game Dark Orbit , took up the development of the MMOG based on the series Battlestar Galactica. The studio specializes in browser games, so it is not surprising that Battlestar Galactica Online will also run and work in a web browser.
The choice of the developer represented by Bigpoint is by no means accidental. NBC Universal, which owns the rights to the Battlestar Galactica trademark, bought a 35% stake in the German studio back in 2008. So there are suspicions that the creation of the game will be dictated by the licensor.
