The coverage map of the Krasnodar Territory by the cellular operator Tele2 should be radically altered

Yesterday on Habrahabr sid44sid laid out a story about how he gradually moves from "Beeline" to Tele2.

After reading this story, I experienced natural curiosity and went on the Internet to see how well Tele2 provides cellular reception in our mountain region (on the Black Sea coast of the North Caucasus), whether there is coverage between the Markotkh and Main Caucasus mountain range, for example.

Alas! I was awaited by rude disappointment, personified by that geographical map :

Immediately noticeable that we face a contour map in Flash, the appearance of which in the era of the Google Maps API looks like an anachronism. Increasing the map (with a slider with a magnifying glass) is arranged so that one click on the plus sign (one step of increase) increases by only one and a half times, and yet you have to wait again until the visible area of the map is extorted. Scale bar ("so much = 1 km") is missing. The letters and contours are blurred by aggressive JPEG compression, although a PNG or even GIF would be much more suitable for a low-color geographic map.

But all these shortcomings fade before major coastal cities (Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Tuapse ...) and other seaside settlements (Vityazevo, Sukko, Abrau-Dyurso, Kabardinka, Divnomorsk, Krinitsa, Arkhipo-Osipovka, Dzhubga ...). Instead of placing the names on top of the Black Sea (where the letters are not able to block anything), the map creators put the names on top of the coverage map, where they hide the details of the displayed coverage of the territory by cellular communication. Large cities, however, are inscribed with colossal letters (several kilometers in the mastjab), additionally circled with a white border around the contour, so that each name covers several square kilometers of territory, which is why the card reader cannot learn anything about it.

So, for example, residents of the suburbs of Gelendzhik will not be able to see on the map (under the inscription " GELENDZHIK ") either the Wide Gap farm (the whole one), nor Aderbiyevka (except for a small northwestern piece), nor the North of Bright. To the east of Novorossiysk, the inscription " Novorossiysk " covers the Pearl and Afonka. To the east of Anapa is generally scary to watch.

It would seem an international company. Where does such a bad map come from?
