How we use Yandex Direct

After reading the topic "Computer Company - about advertising" I finally decided to describe how we advertise ourselves.

How did we come to this (advertising via yandex direct:

At the first stage, the methods tested at previous work places were used:

calling potential customers

faxing, e-mail

advertising in the industry directory (in this case, Construction )



In the offseason - February-March (part of April) there is time for all types of such advertising - returns appeared until August, that is, you can really make a reserve for half a year in order to have a minimum influx of calls and orders,

During the season - May-September - most of the time the employee spends on the preparation of documents for work, there is no time for promotion, it requires less costly in terms of time promotion methods.

The end of the season - October-December - the change of the entire advertising strategy, complete refusal from print advertising, mailing and ringing are stopped, because the works are not planned yet, They chose Yandex Direct to engage in the process of communicating with related companies.



What is done:

created one ad "industrial mountaineering" it includes the most popular keywords. constant control over the cost so that the position does not go down.



result: in the most unproductive time, November-December, one call per day, spending about 1000 per week. The first signed contract after a week of placement.



After the new year and the snowfalls, there was a huge need for the services of industrial climbers, the costs for direct increased and amounted in the period January-beginning of March - 1000-1500 rubles per day. The number of calls has increased to several dozen per day. The cost of clicks has increased several times, on some days it was necessary to raise rates several times.

About potential customers using the Internet to search for suppliers - everything from the Office of Presidential Affairs to the Orthodox Church.



Following the results of 2 months, we made a jump from volumes of several hundred thousand per month to several million per month, using only one advertisement on yandex direct.

Of course, these months are not indicative, as the work was several times more than the performers, in the season (summer) this figure is less, about 1.5 times more work than the performers.



For further development, about 10 highly specialized announcements have been created (roofing, cleaning, installation works). We plan to use google. We expect to get enough momentum from this ad for hiring an individual employee for sales.
