SchoolOut is preparing to launch an API for application developers

The SchoolOut.ru project, networks for schoolchildren, is already more than half a year, and now, finally, an innovation has appeared that is interesting to the residents of Habr.

So, we run the API for application developers, now the service is in the final testing stage, after which it will be open to users.

At the moment, the SchoolOut API is almost the same as the Mail.Ru API, so Mail developers will have no difficulty setting up their application for SchoolOut ( link to the documentation ).

We invite interested developers to test in closed API mode and place the application on SchoolOut. Of course, at the moment in terms of audience size, we cannot compete with major social networks, but there are a number of advantages for developers who will host their applications with us first:

First , you will not have any time competitors, respectively, in the future you will have an advantage in the number of users. Most of the currently registered users (a couple of tens of thousands) will certainly try your application.

Secondly , for our part, we promise to help promote your application among SchoolOut users and information support.

And, thirdly , we give developers 70% of the revenue from applications. This figure is associated with the lack of safety margin like Mail.ru (capable of giving developers 99% of revenue), as well as the lack of such infrastructure to support a project like Vkontakte (who is willing to share only 50% of revenues).

Well and, fourthly, the audience of SchoolOut are users of 13-17 years old, according to statistics, the most actively playing audience of the network.
