What is a genetic algorithm?

As part of the Computer Science Student project today, I will try to give a short visual explanation: what is a genetic algorithm? In the simplest and most common formulation to solve the simplest problem. Solution source codes (the code is not the highest quality because it was written in haste; but the code is not important in this course) and the text of the tasks themselves is available on the CS-Student Wiki .
