Flight Novosibirsk - Moscow, GPS track and some statistics. under the cut a big picture and some text ... Detailed map 2600x700px
I realized a long time ago that airplanes do not fly in a straight line at all, and I was always interested in the flight route, and then sitting down by the window I turned off all electronic devices except the GPS tracker and flew ... As seen on the map, the plane flew along an intricate trajectory, the reasons for this are not known to me, if anyone is welcome in the comments. Having loaded the track into Google Map one curious detail is visible - the flight took place over the historical sights of Russia:
Tobolsk Kremlin
Yellowwater Macarius Monastery
Church of the Intercession on the Nerl
Suzdal Kremlin
Since the flight was the evening nothing but marvelous beauty, sunset was seen nebylo. Perhaps in clear weather and something will be visible, but I strongly doubt it.
Technical statistics are as follows:
Airbus A320 aircraft
climb 10,000 meters in 20 minutes
maximum height of 10,250 meters
maximum speed of 833 km / h
average speed at an altitude of 10,000 meters 770km / h
descent and landing 30 minutes
total flight time 4 hours 15 minutes
The landing approach looks very curious. The length of the loop is 78 kilometers.
