Windows Phone 7: new video, multitasking and unified development for three platforms
From the TechEd Middle East conference, two videos shot by the participant were leaked to a mobile device. The first video shows the same game that runs on PC, Windows Phone 7 and XBox360. Further, the video demonstrates a single solution in Visual Studio 2010 for simultaneous development for all three platforms. The video shows that all resources and most of the code are the same for all projects, allowing you to make one game under three platforms at once, with a minimum of effort.
In the second video, under the cut, the work with the device is demonstrated, during which you can see that after switching to the browser, the page is already open in it. This indirectly confirms the data on the presence of multitasking in Windows Phone 7. Another version of multitasking is demonstrated right there: one of the browser tabs is attached to the main window in the form of a tile, which will be updated when the page content changes. Thus, the application in Windows Phone 7 will be able to work in the background updating its state.

We look forward to the MIX'10 conference (held March 15-17), during which a full disclosure of the possibilities of the new platform is expected. More than 10 reports on WP7 have already been scheduled for this event.
