"Student Championship - Collect Computer 2010" in Volgograd

On March 4, the next stage of the “Student Championship - Collect Computer 2010” took place in Volgograd on the basis of the Volgograd State Pedagogical University.

So, as it was written above, this event took place as not strange at the Pedagogical University, and not at the alma mater of all IT specialists of our city in Volgograd State Technical University.
I became an unwitting viewer of this event, so I hasten to share information with the community.

Initially, a representative of Gigabyte (flew from Moscow), a technical marketing expert Alexander Shlensky, spoke.

In his presentation, he spoke about the latest developments of gigabyte in the field of motherboards.
Honestly, despite the fact that he was a marketing specialist, he himself looked like a student, the speech was not staged and not sure.

Then Yanina Nizhelskaya, a representative of Western Digital in the Southern Federal District, spoke.

She spoke about the latest developments of the company for home users. The new SSDs of the Silicon Blue series and the WD TV Mini Media player were noted.
Here is her presentation - I liked it. Nothing superfluous, a small number of slides, not overloaded with text, speech with a small number of abstruse terms. Any look expensive.







Then the championship began.
Everyone was invited to fill out questionnaires asking questions about the products of Gigabyte and WD. Who correctly answered all questions automatically took part in the championship.
Immediately the question arises, why was the registration on the gigabyte website necessary?
Moreover, in the process of filling out the questionnaire, the employee of gigabyte decided to hand out to everyone a brochure that contained all the answers.
That is, those who honestly answered questions and first passed their profiles remained unsuccessful.
Those who copied the answers from the brochure made their way to the participants.
Then the championship itself began. There are no complaints about him.
While the competitors were collecting computers, viewers could take part in various contests in which they could get souvenirs in the form of T-shirts, pens, and the like.

Awarded from the end, from the tenth place. Participants received souvenirs.
