This is a widget of the site BlogRating.org for the customized Yandex main page, containing 5 top blog entries. The specific reason were the posts (EXTREMELY!) By Artemy Lebedev. The purpose of thisarticle is to note:
1. Raising the debate about whether Yandex is doing the right thing, which provides a mat through the API without censorship, but requires this censorship from the owners of the widgets. Perhaps (even for sure), this is indeed a more correct method than censoring a RSS feed going through the blog search API, but still excluding the widget from the directory for such a reason looks rather strange. In fairness, it should be noted that the performance of the widget itself and the possibility of adding it to the customized Yandex home page did not affect the removal from the catalog.
2. Notification of site visitors that the widget will soon be finalized in order to conceal the mat and re-offered for moderation in the directory. Or a separate version with censoring is developed.
