500 W Portable Hydro Turbine

Bourne Energy is preparing for the production of portable hydraulic turbines Backpack Power Plant (BPP), which provide clean energy. In this case, the turbine can carry all the time.

For installation, it is required to dig holes from two banks of the river and fix anchors there. Then a synthetic rope is passed between them and BPP is attached to it.

The civil and army versions of the turbine are being prepared for production. Army modifications are made for different streams of water, and the civilian model works best at a flow of 2.3 meters / s.

For the military, this device has another advantage: it does not radiate heat and is not visible on radars and thermal imagers, that is, it is excellent for secret operations.

According to the company's director, after the launch of the conveyor, the cost of the BPP-2 model will be about $ 3,000. To start production, the company is trying to find a source of venture capital in the amount of $ 4 million.
