The inability to make an emergency call from Nokia smartphones on Symbian 9.1!
I have a Nokia e61 smartphone with the latest firmware today.
When trying to make an emergency call to 112 or 911
there is such a progress bar

After 2-5 seconds, there is a telephone connection with the voice menu of the emergency service, where a pleasant female voice asks to choose one of four:
- "to connect with the fire protection press: 1"
- “with the police: 2”
- “with emergency medical care, press: 3”
- "with gas service: 4"
No matter how I tried to press the numbers on the telephone keypad, nothing came of it, the tone signal was never transmitted and it was simply impossible to connect with the emergency service.
This means that at least one, and maybe all Nokia models of Symbian 9.1 smartphones are not suitable for calling emergency services - BECAUSE IT CAN COST A HUMAN LIFE!
