Jetpack for everyone

Almost. The company Martin Aircraft has developed the world's first “rocket pack”, which will go into mass production this year, after which anyone can purchase this device. Tellingly, the announcement of the device has already been made several times, but specific dates and numbers have appeared only now.

The gizmo is equipped with two turbines and can fly up to 60 km on a single charge. The kit includes a parachute and a protective mechanism that protects the pilot from being hit while recklessly landing. The first 10 owners of new items will be personally instructed in device management, and not just anywhere, but in New Zealand.

Interestingly, the knapsack meets all the necessary European standards and requirements (FAA Part 103). Moreover, to control the device does not need a pilot's license (just like on a moped).

The price of pleasure, however, bites - $ 76,000 for things. Although if you choose between, say, some Lexus and this invention, being in Moscow, I would choose the latter. And no more traffic jams.
