I think that many habra people periodically have ideas of various start-ups, services and the like. Some ideas are completely stupid, some are “in-this-something-is”, and some seem just brilliant. Stupid ideas are forgotten, normal ones can be realized and see what happens, but what to do with a brilliant idea? Such an idea that seems so cool that it becomes scary, what if you make a website, a large company sees it, spends a lot of money, makes its own analog, and you simply cannot compete with them. Or this: you will make a website, but you will not be able to promote it effectively, and only two or three hundred people will know about it. I can assume that in such cases there is a need for an investor.
In this regard, I have a whole bunch of questions for knowledgeable people:
- Is an investor really needed or are there any other ways?
- Where to look for an investor?
- With what to go to the investor: with the idea, with a ready, but not launched product or with an already working site?
- Do I need to patent an idea?
- What responsibility do you have to investor?
- What are the risks?
- How is the profit divided (in some typical cases)?
- Who will be the owner of the resource?
- What is the role of the investor in the development, launch and promotion of the project?
- What happens if the project does not justify the investment?
- Update . Let's say the money received. What to do with them? Hire people?
In a word, I would like to get some kind of action plan, when there is a great idea, but there is no possibility to implement it on our own. After that, it would be possible to issue answers in the form of a separate post.
Update: Specifically, in my case we are talking about a new (at least I have not seen or heard about analogs) format of the organization of the blog.
