Last.fm has music videos

Last week we already wrote that Last.fm launches the video section. In fact, the launch process has already begun : video sections are already available in the profiles of some musicians. For example, groups such as The Foals and The Knife have already had their first video files in their profiles.

So far, the Flash player doesn’t see the possibility of adding clips to your blog, or anywhere else (but you should not forget that the player is in beta and can still change). But there is a button that allows you to purchase an album with a track being viewed in the online store.

Also, Last.fm now has a special page for artists and labels, allowing you to upload video clips to the server. For performers, it gives the opportunity to view statistics on listeners, as well as the right to choose a preferred content seller, for example, Amazon, iTunes Store, or 7digital.
