Today I paid attention to the distribution schedule in utorrent:

Namely, the difference between the overhead value at the beginning of the graph and close to the end.
I work in the support of the provider, I decided to share the beautiful with the admins.
It turned out that on the equipment of the provider in the middle of the day udp-traffic was partially cut off (that part of it that can be connected with uTP).
The reason is the inefficient use of the channel via the uTP protocol - the number of packets of small size is very large.

here (the topic on the forum associated with Internet service).
The bottom line: the release of uTorrent with uTP support had the opposite effect: the load on routers increased, the efficiency of channel utilization decreased.
After uTP blocking, the “usable” speed increased.
